Siderite, pyrite, calcite
This is an excellent small cabinet example of the unusual spheric formations of siderite from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dalnegorsk, Russia. It is one of the best I have ever seen for its aesthetic presentation of a several intergrown crystals of pyrite and calcite. Under magnification you can see that the surface of the spheres has a microcrystalline structure and that there are small rhombs of white calcite inside, also.
